There is planted tank inspiration, and then there is planted tank INSPIRATION. This is going to be a graphic rich page, and is best viewed on a fast and uncapped connection. But I could not resist inspiring you!
There are many ideas incorporated in these images. I deliberately chose these particular images because they are different from what one usually sees. Note that a lot of these aquariums are small nano-tanks. It is really amazing what can be done in their constricted spaces! You can learn a lot from them if you set out to analyse why they are beautiful.  In particular look how the complete volume of these tanks have been used. There are certainly no half-full aquariums here! Study these aquariums for design lines, rock use and placement, levels, perspective and overall mood— or simply sit there and drool!
